¡Poder femenino!/Female power!

¡Hola caracola!

Hello sweeties! This week I'm so busy, without free time...well in reality I'm partying so much in my village and having a lot of fun. However I took some time to write a post, this week about female power in music. With this I'm refering to singer or artists (woman) that I love and that I hope you do it also, and in this case they have very different styles.

- Lana del Rey is a singer and american composer. She started making shows in New York clubs  with only 18 years old and signed her first music contract when she was 20 years old, with 5 Points Records, shooting her first album  Lana Del Rey a.k.a. Lizzy Grant in January 2010. In June 2011 she shoot her debut single 'Video Games', and a musical video created by herself for that song was uploaded to YouTube in August 2011. After that song was a viral success in internet with more than 40 million visist, her second album, Born to Die, was shoot in January 2012. In 2014 Lana shoots her third album, named Ultraviolence.

In my opinion Lana has one of the bests voices and is one of the best artists of the actual music panorama. There's people that say she is boring and that she doesn't make good music. That people don't know the magic Lana has in her songs and the great lyrics she makes. Okay, Iaccept her music is not for going partying but I can stay hours and hours listening to her and I never get bored. Here you have some links (including a remix of one of her songs) and a great photo of the goddess Lana:

Russian Red is the artistic name of Lourdes Hernández González, a singer-songwriter of indie, folk and spanish folk. She composes and sings every of her songs in english and afirms that she sings in that language for instinct, because she had always listen to music in that lanuage, standing out The Beatles among her main influences. The name Russian Red comes from a red tone of a lipstick that she comonly uses. Lourdes actualy has three album: I love tour glasses (2008), Fuerteventura (2011) and Agent Cooper (2014).

This woman's voice is so espectacular, for me she has and style similar to Lana del Rey. Lately, you could find her making shows in different festivals like Arenal Sound if Burriana (Castellón), the Optimus Alive of Lisbon, appart of acting internationally and in September she will do it at the Dcode Festival in Madrid. If you want to enjoy her special voicehere you have three links with my favourite songs and two photos of the singer:

Nervo is a duet of models, singers, composers and DJs formed by the twin sisters from Australia Miriam and Olivia Nervo. They ocupy the post nº16 of the anual survey 2013 done by the magazine DJmag, arriving to be the female DJs having the higher position that year. They started in the world of music in 2005, and from that moment on they have managed to be famous thanks to singles done for Ke$ha and Kylie Minogue, making remix of artists like Katy Perry or Thirty Seconds To Mars and with David Guetta co-write the song 'When Love Takes Over'. Today these twins are in everyone's mouth thanks to great songs like 'Revolution' or 'You're gonna love again' and making shows all aroun the world and in many festivals like Tomorrowland.

A bit of electro music is always good, and these twins can't do it better. The most probable thing is that if this summer you go partying, you'll listen to the songs I have told you. Here you have some links and a photo of these pretty DJs:
