Un poco de rock y un poco de lectura/A bit of rock and a bit of reading

¡Buenas Tardes pequeños lectores! No sé vosotros pero yo estoy pasando un frío horrible para la fecha en la que estamos, si vosotros también o tenéis más suerte de que haga calorcito que mejor manera de pasar el tiempo que escuchando buena música o leyendo un buen libro. De eso va mi nueva entrada: un poquito de rock y un libro genial que estoy segura os encantará tanto como a mi. Para empezar, algo de música:

- Actic Monkeys es una banda de indie rock formada en Sheffield, Reino Unido. El grupo está compuesto por el guitarrista principal y vocalista Alex Turner (del que estoy locamente enamorada ❤), el guitarrista Jamie Cook, el bateria Matt Helders y Nick O'Malley en el bajo. Su primer álbum, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, fue galardonado en 2007 con el 'mejor álbum británico'. El segundo álbum de la banda, Favourite Worst Nightmare, se lanzó el 23 de abril de 2007. En los siguientes años AM publicaron tres álbum más: Humbug en 2009, Suck it and See en 2011 y AM en 2013 La banda también ganó los premios a mejor banda británica y mejor álbum en los Brit Awards de 2008 y 2014.

Para mi Arctic Monkeys es una de las mejores bandas que del momento y desde hace mucho tiempo. Desde que los descubrí son mi banda y artista favoritos por su tipo de música, sus canciones, sus directos, y sus letras de canciones. Son un indispensable para cualquier amante del indie o simplemente de la buena música. - One Republic es un grupo estadounidense de pop y pop rock formado en 2003 en Colorado Springs, Estados Unidos. El grupo está compuesto por Ryan Tedder (vocalista, piano), Zach Filkins (guitarra, viola), Brent Kutzle (violonchelo, bajo) Drew Brown y Eddie Fisher (batería, percusión). Su álbum debut Dreaming Out Loud salió la mercado el 20 de noviembre de 2007 seguido de Waking Up lanzado en 2009. De ese disco se publicaron cuatro sencillos, 'All the Right Moves', 'Secrets', 'Marchin On' y 'Good Life'. En 2013 publicaron el hasta ahora último álbum Native, con sencillos como 'Counting Stars' o 'If I lose myself'.

Este grupo es uno de esos que sirven para cualquier situación, estés triste contento o fiestero jajaja. A mí me viene bien siempre, así que si queréis aprovechar como seguramente haga yo, no podéis faltar a sus conciertos en Barcelona y Madrid el 19 y 20 de Noviembre. Y ahora os quiero recomendar un libro (parte de una saga) que me ha enamorado. Se trata de Beautiful Disaster y os aviso antes de nada es una novela romántica de la autora americana Jamie McGuire, aunque para mí no es la típica historia de enamorados. Esta novela me la recomendó Sara J. y fue empezarla y en dos días estaba acabada. Quizá más adelante tengamos alguna reseña por aquí... Si sois amantes de las buenas novelas no dudéis en leerla, os encantará. Aquí os dejo mi frase favorita del libro (que le dice mi amor Travis a Abby/Pidge/Pigeon) aunque hay miles que os encantarán.

Good afternoon little readers! Omg I'm freezing here and it's Aug 3rd, if you're too or you're more lucky and it is hot, a perfect plan is listen to good music or reading a good book. That's hwat my new post is about: A bit of rock and a great book that I 'm sure you will love as much as I do. To begin with, some music:

-Artic Monkeys is a indie rock band formed in Sheffield, UK. This band is composed of the main guitarist y singer Alex Turner (who I'm totally in love ❤), the guitarist Jamie Cook, the drumer Matt Helders and y Nick O'Malley with the bass. Their first album, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, was awarded in 2007 with 'the best british album'. Their second one,  Favourite Worst Nightmare, was on market on April 23rd 2007. Next years, AM published three album more: Humbug in 2009, Suck it and See in 2011 and AM in 2013. The band also won the awards for best english band and best album in the Brit Awards of 2008 and 2014. 

For me, Arctic Monkeys is one of the best bands of the moment and since a long time ago. Since I discovered them they are my favourite band and artist for their kind of music, their songs, their live shows and their lyrics. AM are an essential for every indie lover o simply a good-music-lover. If you have the opportunity of seeing them live, do it, this year the only shows in Europe are in the United Kingdom and France. And now I would like to recommend you a book (part of a saga) that have infatuated me. It's Beautiful Disaster and I advice you is a romantic novel of the american writter Jamie McGuire, however for me it isn't a normal love novel. Sara J. recommended me this novel and I took only two days to finish it. Maybe soon enough we'll have a review here...If you are good-novel-lovers you can't miss it, you will love it. Here you have mi favourite quote of the book (that mi love Travis says to Abby/Pidge/Pigeon) but there are like a thousand that are as perfect.
